- put your artwork on top of the die, face up. Remember, the top face of the artwork is covered by one layer of the plastic film only. Using multiple layers of plastic film for protection may cause the machine to jam.
- Displace the grey ring on the right-hand die and place it on top of the first die such that the centre punch is inverted to give a hat-like look.
- Rotate the die such that the first dye comes directly under the lever. Pull down the lever firmly to bind the metal base together with your print.
Second Die To Attach Safety Clip to Your Badge
- Place the badge with the zigzag pin side on top in the second die.
- Lift the grey ring and top hat from the first die and place them on the zigzag-shaped pin.
- Invert the hat so that it fits perfectly into the grey ring.
- Rotate the die such that this time the second die is directly under the lever. Press the lever firmly down so that the top hat compresses down onto the die to successfully attach the pin to your badge.
